PowerSchool - Parent Portal
The Sonoma Valley Unified School District is pleased to announce that the High School and Middle Schools in our district will allow parents access to a new internet based site called PowerSchool Parent Portal. (We have discontinued using ParentConnect).Grade Schools will follow in the near future
The new internet site is a convenient home-to-school collaboration tool that allows parents to enhance their involvement by keeping track of their children's academic progress online via an easy-to-use web site customized for Sonoma Valley High School.
Parents may visit the password-protected site to view school program announcements as well as their student's schedules, grades, discipline issues, assignments, daily and period attendance, skill mastery, course history, and demographic and health/immunization data.
How Do I Access The Site?
Students and Parents will receive their own login Id and password.
All schools will be mailing the parents this information by Oct. 16, 2009.
For security reasons, we can not give this information out on the phone. We can mail it to you, or you can come by in person to your child’s school or the district office with proper ID.
Once you have your login information you can visit the site at: http://powerschool.sonomavly.k12.ca.us/
